Troubleshooting
Start with the symptom, then return to the specific guide for that part of the setup.
Find the problem first
No meter detection
If the game picture is visible but no detection box is being drawn, verify 1080p output, HDR off, VRR off, the correct PS5 RGB / Xbox color-space setting, the correct meter type / position / color, and the correct capture device or Window Capture source.
Review Capture & Video settings →Capture card not detected
Make sure the capture card is connected with a USB 3.0 cable to a USB 3.0 port on the PC. Reconnect it directly to the PC, avoid an unpowered hub, and then reselect the capture device in Dilemma.
Review Capture & Video settings →No preview / low FPS
Recheck the selected capture source, USB 3.0 connection, Window Capture target, PREVIEW rate, and PC load. Lower the PREVIEW rate and close unnecessary apps or background processes if performance is unstable.
Review Capture & Video settings →Controller not detected
Connect the controller with a USB 3.0 data cable to a USB 3.0 port on the PC. Avoid charge-only cables and, when possible, connect directly to the PC instead of through a hub.
Review Virtual Controller setup →Remote Play not connected
Return to PSN registration, console discovery, and the Remote Play connection steps for your selected setup.
Review PS5 Remote Play (Direct) →Titan not detected
Recheck the Titan 2 INPUT-A connection, PROG USB connection to the PC, and the Titan Bridge settings in Dilemma.
Review Titan 2 setup →Double / missing input
Recheck Virtual Controller and Controller Hiding. After changing Controller Hiding, disconnect and reconnect the physical controller before testing again.
Review Virtual Controller setup →Meter box is drawn and Output says “Completing shot,” but the shot does not release
First verify the timing value for the shot type you are using. If timing is correct, refresh the controller path in this order: disable and re-enable Controller Hiding → stop the script → disconnect and reconnect the controller → start the script again.
Review Virtual Controller release troubleshooting →Late / Early / Slow / Fast
Use the timing feedback table to identify which value should be changed instead of changing detection settings first.
Review Timing & Values →Syncer Status shows “No game found” / no game status
Make sure the console is receiving its connection through Windows Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) using the required Syncer network layout, and confirm the console is online through the shared USB Ethernet adapter. Syncer also needs an active online game/network session before game presence can be detected.
Review Syncer setup →Works, but inconsistent
Check FPS, meter settings, PREVIEW load, unnecessary open apps/processes, network conditions, and whether the issue repeats under the same conditions.
Review Consistency →Still stuck?
When asking for support, a short screen recording is usually more useful than a written description for detection or timing problems. Make sure the entire relevant Dilemma/game window is visible.
