Timing & Values
Use the feedback type to decide which timing control to change. The shortcuts below match Dilemma's current controls.
Rule:
change the control that matches the feedback you are actually
getting. Do not change several timing controls at once.
Which value should I change?
| Problem | Change | Controller shortcut |
|---|---|---|
| Normal timing is Late / Early | Timing Offset |
Late:
L2 / LT +
Left Early: L2 / LT + Right |
| Post timing is Late / Early | Post Offset |
Late:
R2 / RT +
Left Early: R2 / RT + Right |
| Rhythm release is Late / Early | Rhythm Timing |
Late:
L2 / LT +
Down Early: L2 / LT + Up |
| Rhythm feedback is Slow / Fast | Rhythm Tempo |
Slow:
R2 / RT +
Down Fast: R2 / RT + Up |
Adjustment Increment
Adj Increment controls how much each controller shortcut changes its value. For example, an increment of 2 means every adjustment changes that timing value by 2.
Use smaller increments when you are already close to the timing you want.
Once you have found your real timing, do not chase a single
occasional Early or Late by changing your value mid-game.
Check consistency and networking first.
